Soteria Ventures Founder and Managing Director, Gideon Reeves, has over 20 years private investment experience across a range of security classes and assets. 

In the past 5 years he has leveraged his network to develop a strong track record in identifying pioneering enterprise equity opportunities, helping to raise seed investment, lead further funding rounds, accelerate growth, drive innovation, streamline product development and pioneer technology solutions to realise value and generate positive returns in line with outlined exit strategies. 

His ability to identify and build successful ventures stems from his 15 years executive experience in growing global sports, media & technology brands, delivering quality commercial, operational and partnership outcomes across broadcast, digital, social, & tech.

​His previous experience working on digital transformation projects for rights holders; (IOC, FIFA, UEFA, FA; FIA, ERC, WTCC), media platforms; Eurosport (Discovery Media Group),  Bleacher Report (Turner & WarnerMedia) and technology startup, MinuteMedia has given him a unique insight into the marketplace and a keen sense of what is needed to bring supply and demand together to deliver meaningful results.

His commercial credentials have enabled him to develop multimillion dollar global content partnerships solving business challenges for international brands in the sports apparel vertical (Nike, Adidas, Reebok & Puma) automotive sector (Nissan, Lexus, Toyota, Castrol, Shell, Mobile 1) food & beverage (Heineken, PepsiCo), consumer electronics (Samsung, Microsoft, ACER) financial (Credit Suisse, Santander, mastercard) travel & tourism (Durban, Ireland) amongst many others.
